Cyanide Amenable to Chlorination - WP proficiency testing material is produced in accordance with ISO/IEC 17043:2010. This product is also referred to as non-Potable water or Water Pollution sample. Preparation Note
Description This ampule contains a concentrate for the preparation of a solution that can be analyzed for Cyanide Amenable to Chlorination. The sample contains both simple and complex cyanides. This PT sample is as a 2 mL concentrate.Sample Preparation Partially fill a 1000 mL volumetric flask with reagent-grade water (near 20 °C) and add 1 mL of 1N NaOH. Open ampule PE1147-2ML and transfer 1.0 mL of concentrate to the volumetric flask. Fill the flask to volume with reagent-grade water and mix well. The sample is now ready for immediate analysis.
